"The carpeting in the room smelled really bad, Like a dog or cat had urinated in there. The rooms are in desperate need of an update. Be prepared for the hard sell to join a time share recruitment meeting. "

"Ants and coakroaches in the room. Mould and AC leaking. Wet carpet. Microwave not working. Toileteries missing and not replenished. Rooms were not serviced for towels and replishment. Service was poor. Ac door was vibrating when you set fan at high speed and vents were blocked with dirt. We changed 3 rooms 650/210/810 and all room had issue. Not worth money they charged for the trip. We even couldnt sleep 4 nights we stayed there."

"Great grounds snd property feel"

"Staff was great and very accommodating as I needed to modify my stay after checkin. Property is clean but it is a little dated (although that seems common on the Big Island). Easy to get to the national Park from this hotel. There is also a nearby park within walking distance for easy access to the ocean. Recommended for a stay in Hilo."

"Very clean, nice rooms. Excellent location with dining/shopping within walking distance. Beach was very nice, a very short walk away."

"Visited during the Kona storm. Was not able to use pool as much as would have liked. The grounds of the property is beautiful even in the rain. Loved being able to watch the dolphins from my balcony every morning when drinking coffee and watching the rain."
