"Everything was great about the property. It's bigger than we expected. Big kitchen and living room. Great view on the patio/deck. The fees do add up to be a lot , but we knew about them prior to booking and just included them in the cost per night when budgeting. It's a little far away from kailua, but with the full kitchen next time we will do a few meals at the resort "

"We had a great, relaxing time while we were there. 3 pools along with 3 free BBQ grills to use. Next to the ocean and a golf course. We didn't need air conditioning since the trade winds either from over the mountains or the ocean keep the condo cool day and night. We will return again and request to stay at Kanaloa at Kona by OUTRIGGER again."

"Excellent property, and wonderful, helpful staff. We had an ocean front room, which was amazing. The pool is great for kids and adults alike. The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. I highly recommend the property to anyone planning a trip to Kona."

We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. "This VRBO was exceptional clean. The views were exceptional. We all enjoyed watching the surfers - and they definitely were very good. the waves were 10 to 20 feet at times. We were on the beach next door a lot. We enjoyed the two bedrooms and the full kitchen. Couldn't quite figure how to operate the tv but that was OK since it made us get outside and enjoy the area. Restaurants downtown are all within walking distance and the are realy exceptional. very friendly area."

"The condo is decorated nicely and located near restaurants and shopping area. The host answered us promptly with questions and addressing concern/issue. We met a nice "neighbor" on the same floor and had a pleasant visit with her and her dog. Kalalau beach is near by which provides nice snorkeling experience. We will come back and visit again."

"Room was large and spacious. Walk in closet. Large HDTV. We got to see an endangered nene goose from our balcony! Only negatives about the room was shower/tub drain was very slow. The lights could have been brighter in the room. Palace tower, room 3269. PS My wife was distressed at the hungry kittens that appeared in the morning and evening begging to be fed. They should be taken to an animal shelter and not euthanized. The hotel staff was wonderful."

"Showing its age but it looks as though renovation is happening. Clean rooms, nicely decorated but carpet is old and faded. The pool was closed for maintenance which was disappointing. But, for the price, I’d give it another chance. "
