「We had an excellent stay at the Waiakea Villas. The room was comfortable and the amenities were excellent. Check-in was by lockbox, but it was easy to use. There is a State Park just around the corner which was a nice place to walk in the mornings. The room does not have central A/C (like many places in Hawaii) but it did have a portable unit. 「As described: secluded, a much- needed respite; chocolates helped! Coqui’s night calls make me sleep though some might need ear plugs. I spent most evenings under the lanai’s bugless tent (green geckos were allowed:-) and beautiful silver pheqsant(!), Bed, couch, HAMMOCK, shower are big plusses. "とても素敵なホテルでした。チェックインの瞬間から素敵な景色が広がっています。スタッフの対応はフレンドリーだが、近すぎないという距離感で、大人向けのリゾートとして、とても好ましいと感じました。室内も広く、清潔かつ快適でした。欲を言えば、家族３人なので、トリプルの部屋、あるいはエクストラベッドがあればありがたかったです。（追加料金を払うと、トリプルの部屋があったのですが、下の階になってしまい、ビーチが見られなくなってしまうとのことで、残念ながら諦めました。）とにかく朝も昼も夜も美しく、中でも日が沈む夕焼けが印象的でした。白砂のビーチも、プライベート感があり、とても素敵でした。ゆっくり過ごすには最高だと思います。プールも子供連れのものと、大人だけのエリアに分けられており、ジャグジーもついておりました。空港から３０分程度かかるため、周りは極めて静かです。食事は、カジュアルなレストランと、スマートカジュアルなもの、またカフェ（＋コンビニ的なショップ）があり、円安ではありましたが、比較的リーゾナブルに食事を頂くことが出来ました。もしフードコートなど、外食ということになれば、15分ほど離れたKing's shopに行けば良いかと思います。ただいずれにしても22時頃にはホテル内のレストランも含めて、皆閉店してしまうので、気をつけた方が良いかと思います。それ以外に特筆すべきことがふたつあります。一つは室内にWestinのロゴ入りの水筒があり（無料で頂ける！）、各階にウォーターサーバーがあるので、お水がフリーに飲めるということ。もう一つはランドリーが無料で使用できるということです。洗剤なども無料で使用できるようになっており、時間帯によっては待たなければならないかもしれませんが（洗濯機は２台、乾燥機は４台稼働しておりました。）、コインの準備を含めて、長期滞在の際にいつも悩まされる洗濯が２４時間無料で使用できるというのはとても感激しました。家族全員大満足で、またいつか行けたら良いなと思っております。 "
