「Kim’s Cottage and Jim’s welcome were both awesome, two of us stayed for three nights and it was exactly as described and expected. The private patio was wonderful and it made for easy living. We did have some unwelcome encounters with mosquitos, but that was expected due to the location of the property and the season. 「This is a great place to stay to get away from it all! Close enough to Hilo to get back into the all of you want. We also wound up driving north around the island to the west side a bit more than towards Hilo. Just sitting on the porch and looking out at the sky & ocean was so peaceful. Wish we had better weather. Got 1.5 sunrises and one night starry sky out of 7 nights but, that was only the fault of Mother Nature. Still so peaceful in the rain. 「We had a fabulous time here in this beautifully restored surf cottage. Great location, David and Kim were great! Kitchen stocked with everything you may need, plenty of towels. Loved the outdoor shower! Plenty of space to hang out front and back. Great sunset just across the street. We will definitely return!」

「My husband and I so enjoyed our stay in the Pineapple Cottage at Hulili Farm. While the location made sight-seeing around the island easy, we often opted to stay in and enjoy the sound of the rain on the roof and the sway of the hanging bed on the lanai. We hope to come back again soon!」
