"Been there many times but first time in a room at ground level next to the freeway. It was noisy all night. I had to turn off the window AC which also noisy. I also saw cockroach on the desk. "

"View of the ocean from our room's balcony was excellent. Food and beverages in the oceanfront restaurant & bar were very good, although there was no indoor dining. The restaurant/bar, although completely covered overhead, were totally outdoors. However, there was no room service. Lighting was only on one end of each of the 2 beds in the room, and no light in between the beds. The "kitchen" was solely a counter with a sink w/faucet, and a refrigerator (no paper towels) or dishwashing liquid furnished."

"Pacific 19 is ideally situated, which makes it easy to get to all the Kona attractions, restaurants and such. The pool and coffee hut were both enjoyable too."

"Loved our stay. Some staff, especially at the Hau Tree bar, was mediocre. One waitress was just rude. The Tapa bar, Christian and Mike were great! Shout out to them. Breakfast at Tropics was delicious, staff here all around was amazing. The beach umbrellas and chairs could use an upgrade, especially for the price, but the staff was good. "

"Hi we book ocean view but we get a room in the 5th floor near the pool deck and was very noisy because of the music and people passing true that area , also we never get pools chairs because they are always reserved or full capacity, the location of the resort was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. "

"We had an ocean view room and it was amazing. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The building is a little old and the elevator situation can be a mess sometimes but the staff, the breakfast upstairs, the views, the tiki bar downstairs, and all the extras we get for staying at this hotel, make up for it. I will definitely be back. "

"Great view. No hassle from timeshare sales. Loved the amenities. Auntie Reasa doing the cultural activities great. Please take advantage of them. Not planning on them but one of the highlights of trip. The garden at Dole plantation was beautiful. Enjoyed our trip. Would definitely come back in a heartbeat. "
