"We got off to an awkward start. The receptionist couldn't find our reservation. Eventually she found it I am the 3rd so that threw everything off. We were please with the room. We checked in and left to hit the beach right away. When we returned that evening my wife notice the room wasn't cleaned properly. There was hair left in the tub and sink and my wife had to clean it. When we mentioned it they basically brushed it off. The iron didnt work, but the brought up a new one in a timely manner. Besides that, they cleaned the room every other day which is now the standard it seems. The staff was helpful the remainder of the time. The hotel had daily activities you could attend. We took a ukulele class and signed up for a bracelet making class but had to cancel. We were running late for a dinner that evening. The have a nice game room, beautiful pools and nice views. They had a food truck night and We loved that fact that the h"

10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic vacation here. The resort was beautiful, relaxing, great staff and service. We had several amazing dinners at Moana, the New York strip was phenomenal, grilled prawns were delicious, the house sourdough bread was on point, wine selection was good. Breakfast at Moana was also great, the French toast and the omelette should not be passed up. We also had dinner at the four seasons one night and it was not even close to being as good as Moana. The beach is a relaxing vibe, never felt crowded, just a serene view with relaxing waves to listen to, we had lunch and drinks at the shipwreck bar, grilled fish Baja tacos and ceviche with Island lagers really nailed it. They have a complimentary coffee bar open at 530 am with fresh fruit and the chocolate croissant was delicious , we did that every morning and worked out in the gym which has everything you need. Only comments which are not really complaints but could be improved, dinner at Kahuwai cookhouse could be better, the burger didn’t really impress for the price, bbq oysters also didn’t impress, needed more flavor on both, seems a missed opportunity for them to not have wood fired pizza or just a more bbq over fire focused menu, we would have loved that. Overall I would give it a 10/10, we will come back and plan to visit other Rosewood resorts after this."

And we paid for parking and parked right in front of the entrance in their lot but still got a parking ticket. They said they'll handle it so... So overall its 8 out of 10."

"We really loved our stay here. The location was great as you could easily walk down to the beach and back, having parking and a hose to wash the sand out as well as access to borrow many recreational stull at the home was awesome. We got upgraded for free to a slightly larger room which was really nice and unexpected. Nights were quiet and the bed was comfy. Only improvement in my opinion is maybe adding AC (even a small standing unit) may help. The heat made it a bit hard to sleep but nothing a quick cold shower or a dip in the ocean can't fix. Overall, It was a really nice place to stay, we will definitely stay here again when visiting the Big Island/Kona area."
