「Even better than I could have ever imagined! This is the definition of PARADISE. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean breezes, and even with no AC, it stayed pretty cool between the fans and the vented windows. For our first Hawaii experience, we are so glad we chose the Windward side, which is slower paced and quieter than the city side of the island. We did get to see the sea turtles at night and early in the morning. What a beautiful experience! Terrie is the best host! ...

This place was tucked away but so convenient to everything on the East side of the island. Yes! We were part of the LALA tropical storm turned into a category 1 hurricane that caused very heavy rain, strong winds, flooding, road problems with debris and fallen power lines around Volcano.
