"This hotel is excellent! It is my favorite place to stay in Edinburgh. I stayed here four years ago and had an excellent experience and came back this week and the experience was even better. Our room was lovely with an outstanding view. The staff are exceptional! They met all of our needs and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. In addition, the location is incredible. You are right in the heart of old town Edinburgh I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again when I return to Edinburgh. "

"Yes but they need to have someone monitoring it. I caught a diner taking bread back to her table decided she no longer wanted it and put it back which meant some unsuspecting diner wod have eaten the germ ladden bread if I had not removed it and reported it to staff."

Did know anywhere could this basic or bad these days This is an old not refurbished for years bargin basement budget hotel pretending to be more. All rooms sealed with no opening windows and stifling with no fresh air and 20 degrees at night. Far far too hot. Would never stay here again if you paid me "

"The room was clean-looking but smelled like sweat, and the smell didn’t go away over the two nights of my stay. The wi-fi was very choppy and caused some serious problems for me as I had important video calls that kept cutting out. I would like to request a partial or full refund."
