"Location, location, location. We had a corner room that was quite literally "on the rocks". Our most expensive room ever during our 53 years of marriage, but well worth the cost."

"I love the quick access to everything near Kona. Parking was easy. The pool was closed for remodeling during my stay but it was not an issue due to near beach access. There were no issues with cleaning every 2 days."

"Unfortunately for us there was a band/choir highschool gathering. Loud kids, took over the pool area. Stayed up late partying and as we were on the ground floor we were keep awake from noise above until after midnight. They should have been staged in a separate area. Ugh"

"Excellent property, and wonderful, helpful staff. We had an ocean front room, which was amazing. The pool is great for kids and adults alike. The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. I highly recommend the property to anyone planning a trip to Kona."

"We stayed in the cottage and it was exceedingly charming and comfortable. Staff were truly kind and gracious, and we had two great meals at the main restaurant. The nature trail on the property was a nice bonus. Great location near the national park and close to other restaurants, too. Staying at the Kilauea Lodge was the highlight of our trip."

Be prepared to have some type of vehicle whether it’s car, scooter, electric bike etc since most of the attractions are far from this location. "

Condo is well kept, it had all necessary appliances and features a condo should have and even beach chair, snorkels and surf boards probably left by previous guests. It was a pleasure going to the pool and jacuzzi. There are a good number of Bbqs in good condition and kept clean. Location is great, close to the A-Bay beach and walking distance except when is is very shot and sunny. Then it's better to go by car. Condo is also walking distance to numerous...

"Everything was great about the property. It's bigger than we expected. Big kitchen and living room. Great view on the patio/deck. The fees do add up to be a lot , but we knew about them prior to booking and just included them in the cost per night when budgeting. It's a little far away from kailua, but with the full kitchen next time we will do a few meals at the resort "

We were there celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary and they actually cut a bouquet of fresh flowers to give to us as a celebratory gift. Absolutely stunning. Too bad we couldn’t bring it back to the mainland. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy hotel.
