Sand Island Pet-friendly Vacations

Everything was perfect! Thank you to the Marbella Team, our stay was excellent. We enjoyed everything Mākaha valley had to offer. Especially the amazing sunsets! 10/10 would recommend

We had a phenomenal seven night stay at Ka Laʻi on Waikiki. When choosing where to stay, I always check the worst reviews first and quite honestly, Ka La’i had nothing at all that conserned me in the least. I’m so happy we chose this hotel/resort instead of the Halekulani or the Ritz Carlton Residences. The service was perfection…. It was consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely high end from the moment we checked into until the moment we left. We were celebrating our anniversary and we were graciously upgraded to a stunning one bedroom suite that had two bathrooms and two balconies - one off the master and one off the dining / living area as well which made the trip feel especially memorable and plush! I will say I noticed some ppl complained about the hotel NOT being directly on the beach and the price but we actually truly preferred this setting: we had gorgeous views and a sense of peace and space without the busiest stretch of Waikiki which most hotels are at. We were literally across the street and I would prefer this over a very crowded beach any day! On a scale of one to ten, I’d give them a 15!! We will definitely be back! The suite was wonderful, but the exceptional service is what would bring us back. We would happily stay here again.

Everything you expect from a hotel at this level. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property is in a neighborhood away from all of the business of down town. It's surrounded by lush gardens with beautiful scenery. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offer a boat ride that takes you out to the coral reef to do some snorkeling then to a sandbar to swim and play volleyball. Check with the front desk for days available. If we return to Hawaii we will definitely stay here again. I've already recommended to a few people.

We had 3 adults staying there. It was advertised for 3 adults, however, the futon foldout was only big enough for a kid. We took pictures of our adult kids and their heads went over the futon. However. After complaining, the owners dropped off a double/queen blow up mattress, about the 3 day into the stay, meanwhile one of the kids had to move into our room. So, bad news, the room was not set up for 3 adults, but good news after days of complaining, the bed was corrected.
