"We have been coming to the New Yorker for many years. Older hotel that's bones have some character. Some of the cheaper rooms are small. Staff is always accommodating, and location can't be beat."

The hotel itself is very good, super clean and organized, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. We loved everything! As a suggestion, it would be great if they had a minibar in the room, as it would make the experience even better. "There's no elevator. There are helpful employees that will carry you bag up 3 long flights of stairs. But if they are not around, you're stuck carrying your bags. My only real complaint about the hotel."

"Front staff was excellent. Cleaning staff was a 3 star. Gone all day and car back late afternoon to a uncleaned. Asked for them to come back once we left for dinner and while napped they came and knocked 4 times before then."
