This is an old hotel, for sure. This was our second time staying here at The New Yorker. It's a great location, especially if you're coming in on the subway or train from JFK or Newark. You can get ANYWHERE in the city by walking or just going around the block to the A, C, & E subway line. The staff is also fabulous. You can store your bags for the day for $5 per bag, which is a steal. My only complaints are the thin walls and the fluctuating temperature in the shower. We bring earplugs and take quick showers!! Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.
