The room was nice, However, they charged me after I left the property for a fee that was not listed anywhere and I didn’t know anything about so that did not make me happy. But the good news is the restaurant is good and the food court is very helpful and the vibe is pretty nice.
The room was convenient fur an early morning flight.

We stayed for the convenience of the location we had an early flight the next morning. In our opinion super cool hotel but way over priced. But again we did stay in New York so nothing is cheap there. Met all of needs however for the night
Place is wonderful seriously no doubt about it. Unfortunately had a bad experience when checking out. Unfortunately left some

Watch the double charges! I booked the room through Expedia however, when you arrive, the front desk will take a credit card, when you check out, they will then double charge you. When you try disputing it, they will say they refunded you however it will still come out of your bank account.. do not trust this place. When I spoke to them in person, she said this is a new thing that’s been going on because it’s third-party and this is happening a lot.. be careful
Very few amenities in room. No closet, no drawers, no iron and housekeeping never appeared during my two-night stay. The pool is small and should not be heated during the summer. It is not free to guests and your time is limited to 1-3/4 hours. You can come back and pay another fee but you have to wait 15 minutes. Rooms are very expensive. Staff is great as is the architecture. And the food at the Paris Cafe is very good, but also expensive. If you are interested in architecture, a dinner at the restaurant or a one-night stay is more than enough.

Highly overpriced for a mediocre hotel
I got a room that the receptionist told me is one of the best because it has a view … looking over the terminal and planes .. wow!
I ended up needing an overnight stay because of a flight cancellation.. it cost me over 800$ for one person because there were no other available rooms
The receptionist then tells me there is nothing in the mini bar and no complementary anything in the room .. not even water to drink which i think was absurd given the amount they charge you.
Very basic all over and its location in terminal 5 is not worth all this money because you still have to walk a decent distance with your luggage through a construction area
Hotel novelty factor is ok but limited and a little superficial with the TWA theme but at the price works only for a 1 night stay before or after a flight.
Rooms are very small/compact but neat enough. Longer stay is only for conference clients. Pool you can book for 1 hour 50 mins only as very limited capacity for size of hotel. Restaurant was OK (pricey for families). Location for terminal 5 is very strong, other terminals a little less obvious but Air train not too far away (750ft/250m) if you are travelling light or without young kids. Hotel operation is very lean on staffing so not a mid-luxury offering by any means. Checkin was straightforward and the person (Ash) who checked us in and then brought our luggage to the room was smart, helpful and excellent. Hotel is setup for you to do things yourself and most people would be carrying their own lugguge to and from the room. With a lot of luggage it seemed to be setup that you need to borrow a luggage trolly to get your luggage to and from your room. On checkout we asked for help with 45 minutes notice but nobody was available (only 2 staff on duty reception/concierge early morning). I had just had surgery so my wife had to go to get a trolley from reception, bring it back to the room and then load up 4 cases and then go back to checkout. 7 minutes each way so took an extra 25 minutes compared to a normal hotel at >$500 price point. We were very early so not an issue. Gym is spectacular for a hotel. Ok for 1 off night stay
Room was 1 floor above ground level right next to a Terminal entrance. Car horns all night long along with Police Sirens and the Police yelling at the driver's of the cars picking up or dropping off at the terminal. Absolutely no sleep. For the money charged for 1 night's stay, Absolutely worthless.
On the surface an ok hotel with a different kind theme. We booked a room with a view and paid extra money for it, our view was a brick building and a cisco truck. After mentioning it to staff all we received was argument and aggravation with no solution offered. So don’t spend any extra money booking a view.
The fun did not stop after our stay as we learn the Hotel charged us again for an already paid room, curious enough it was a les expensive rate than I paid Hotels.com but you win some you lose some.
The food is terrible for the money at the hotel resteraunt so skip that if you can.
I have been using hotels.com for years to book rooms on business and personal trips and this is the only bad experience I have had with billing issues or getting what I paid for so this is the first time I have felt I needed to leave a bad review to warn others.
Cool 60s décor with easy access to JFK airport and parking. Comfortable beds but could use better reading lights. If you get a room with a view it's fabulous but lower level rooms can look out onto cement walls and traffic.
Amazing hotel and all very new!
Room was clean and a perfect size.
Check in and check so easy
Great food and drink options in the hotel so no need to venture into airport terminal,
Roof top pool area is a bonus
Loved the hotel. Beautiful inside in contrast to the drab JFK airport. The front desk could be a bit more efficient in checking us in, but outside of that it’s a definite place to stay when you need an overnight.
lost power for two hours without warning or compensation.
Telephone did not work the entire stay
tried to call and email before arrival and no one answered the phone nor responded to email
Really fun hotel in JFK airport. No noise from the air traffic.
Interesting architecture.

I booked an overnight stay here 3 month ago to easy my AM overseas flight. Due to covid issues, my flight was canceled and I didn’t need the room. They refused to refund me, even though I wasn’t even in the country. I tried through Orbitz as well as direct contact and was told my room is non refundable. Zero compassion for Covid hardships, and would rather just take a persons money. I planned on using this hotel a lot in the future and would have spent a lot more but they’re a bunch of crooks and I’ll never return.
The retro 1960s "kitsch" is fun, and I am a big fan of TWA.....but it is very expensive for what is provided.
To start, no automatic doors at entrances.....making it difficult for travelers with large pieces of luggage.
Our room had a TV mounted to the side wall so that to exit my side of the bed required repositioning the TV and contorting myself on strange ways. Lighting in our guest room was poor. They are also clearly understaffed ( but I guess that is par for the course these days.
This will be a great place to stay on e all the kinks are ironed out
