"The rooms had a bad smell. They were dirty and need an upgrade for sure. The pictures look nothing like real life. We checked in got to the room and left. They charged us for that night but we were not staying there! We ended up at the M Social Hotel and it was amazing. "

"We completely enjoyed our stay at the Lucerne! Beautiful, spacious room in the elegant old-style hotel, all recently remodeled and in perfect condition. There's a garage about a block away for which the hotel gives a slight discount--expensive, but that's New York. We'll stay there again next time we need to be on the Upper West Side."
