The rooftop bar was amazing. If you stay here, do not miss an opportunity to have a drink iup there. Rooms were well put together HOWEVER, the music was so loud the last two nights of my stay in the club area, I literally could not sleep. I was awake until 2am ? and had to get up for a flight....two nights in a row. Choose a room on a higher floor. They called this an "upgrade" but it was really not. I was on Floor 3

Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel for anyone looking for good service in NYC. The safe in our hotel room broke and we asked for it to be fixed / replaced three times on different days with no success. We didn’t get any update on the fix so had to keep ringing for help and the safe remained broken for the whole of our stay. This meant that we had to use the communal safes that were located downstairs. Sometimes we couldn’t get one as they were all taken up by outside visitors - people that the hotel also seemed to favour. Our electronic curtains also broke on the first day and were never fixed and we were basically priced out of using any of the facilitates that the hotel did hsve on site because minimum spends for them (esp the rooftop bar) were at least 400 dollars. Something that wasn’t advertised before we booked the hotel. This is also where outside visitors were favoured above guests too. Therefore we only really used the hotel as a base despite paying a lot of money to stay somewhere nice with swanky bars and restaurants. The only good thing about the hotel was the gym, even our rooms weren’t cleaning properly.

I lived in NYC for 5 years and travel to this wonderful city 4-6x a year. This has been the best hotel I've stayed at for so many reasons. Location!!! A couple of blocks away from SoHo, Bowery, LES and Nolita. Shopping, restaurants, bars, parks, bodegas, grocery stores were literally steps away. Amazing lounge bar, great restaurant, beautiful rooftop view, lockers for your luggage, clean and decent size rooms, great Customer Service. Anything Ian Schrager touches is pure gold.⭐️
