Never had more negative things to say about a hotel I have stayed at. Paid a decent amount of money to stay for 3 nights and my boyfriend and I were very excited about the rooftop pool and bar, but every time we tried to go up to lay by the pool and swim, there was an “event” going on and the pool and bar was closed off to hotel guests. That was absolutely ridiculous and extremely disappointing. Furthermore, there was an “amenity fee” that we had to pay at check in most likely for the pool / bar, and we were not even able to use those things! Also, since the room service and other food was not in service due to “covid” still, they said we were free to eat the snacks in our room. That was fine, but our fridge/drawer with snacks was not stocked before we checked in. The last and other very frustrating thing we encountered was any time we tried to go up to the bar floor (mr purple area) we were rudely greeted with the woman at the desk every time we tried to go up there. I looked for a name tag but could not find one, but it was the dark haired woman who spoke Spanish at the desk outside of the elevators. Whenever we came up to ask to use the hotel pool she was rude and condescending any and every time we attempted to go use the pool. She should not be working at such a beautiful establishment. Lovely hotel with great views, our room was awesome, but the service, “amenities,” and staff for that matter were absolutely not up to par, a waste of money and would not stay again.
