Hotel Miramar

10/10 Excellent

"Well placed Clean confortable with friendly staff Will always stay there"

Acacia Boutique Hotel

8/10 Good

"The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The lobby desk isn't manned a lot or at least not when I tried to find someone. Also, check in was at 4:00 and no one was there to check anyone in so we had to wait. The pool is a hot pool, not cold, but the showers were barely luke warm. Not a terrible thing but something I wasn't told about. Other than that, everything was great."

The Weekender Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. I truly felt welcomed. I have no complaints. Room maintenance was amazing. Everyone was professional and always made sure to give me recommendations on things to do throughout my stay. The parking is limited near the property but accessible parking roughly 3 minutes away is available 24/7 for $20 a day."

DoubleTree by Hilton San Juan

10/10 Excellent

"The Double Tree by Hilton in San Juan was really nice. This was my first stay and I can honestly say I will consider staying there again. The food served for breakfast as part of room package was delicious. The staff (everyone was kind and pleasant), the modern rooms and upkeep of the property are very much worthy of high compliments. I don’t have complaints; but I do have feedback. 2-3 mornings there were loud bumping nosies over my room. I don’t know what it was - it could have been maintenance because it was far too loud to have been other guests. The good thing is it didn’t last long. It would be nice if the hotel invested in having a few staff be more intentionally versed/knowledgable about activities and attractions; even better if there were partnerships with attractions so that it would be easier to make reservations and schedule excursions. Finally, the beach that is not far from the hotel and there is a golf cart available to take you at no charge. It’s a shared beach. The shared amenities do leave something to be desired. Plan to take games, cards, music/speaker, snacks, drinks, etc. because all you get is a chair, towel and umbrella. There are no activities. That’s not the hotel’s fault. But just something to be aware of. The only reason why I would not stay at this hotel again is if I found an actual all inclusive resort at a reasonable rate that is better than the Double Tree by Hilton in San Juan. Aside from that, I was pleased and will love to return."
