"Pools were wonderful, rooms fantastic and the staff was great! Only hesitations were with the restaurants, specifically the high pricing and the often slow service. "

"Staff is non-existent, breakfast was an empty pot of coffee and a breakfast bar and random cat meowing throughout the hallway most of the night. The hotel is on the water but it’s all rocks and you can’t get close. It was ok for our purpose of using a place to sleep but not hang around the property."

"Having never been to PR I followed the reviews and went for it. What an absolute gem. Lovely manager Manny welcomed us to an amazing vacation in a stunning spot in Rio Grande. Location was great, restaurants within walking distance, minutes from the beach and at the center of everything PR has to offer. The house is lovely, and they think of everything to make you comfortable and cared for. We’ll be back, thank you for a wonderful week! "

"Our stay was absolutely amazing - I cannot say enough good things! We especially loved the deck off the kitchen it's the perfect spot for morning coffee and the view is just breathtaking. Our group of 10 ate all our meals out there as well! The pool area is also amazing - the pictures do not do it justice. Ric was a great host and helped us plan a wonderful vacation with a guided tour of El Yunque and a private boat charter to Palamino. One of the best VRBO's we've ever rented!"

"Good, clean property, well-maintained, excellent for golfers, easy access to nearby Wyndham resort, beautiful views of the golf course, Josie provided almost everything you need on a vacation including beach chairs and towels, lots of speed bumps in the vicinity, so one has to drive slowly to get around. "The apartment was clean, comfortable and in an absolutely fantastic location on the island. We were nervous about the neighborhood at first but the apartment complex itself was great. The neighborhood has a scattering of some hurricane hit homes that have been abandoned but we learned that unfortunately that’s quite common to PR. You are 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk from the kioskos a great spot to eat drink and get ice cream and a 10 minute drive to Amigos grocery store. Playa Azul is the best beach nearby in our opinion and you are literally 12 minutes from the ATV/horseback touring the rain forest. San Juan is 35-45 minutes away which is not bad at all. We really enjoyed NOT being in San Juan but close enough to drive in. We wanted a self paced adventure at an affordable price and this place delivered. It’s not the Ritz Carlton but I don’t think you could ask for a breed home base!"
