We had a disappointing stay. Housekeeping was unresponsive — we had to repeatedly ask for basic services, like having the garbage taken out. On top of that, housekeeping placed an “in-room sign” on our door while we were out all day just to avoid cleaning our room.
While the view from the hotel is fantastic, the beach isn’t swim-friendly, and unlike other hotels, they don’t seem to clean up the debris on the sand. This made walking along the beach almost impossible.
The pool was another letdown — it was warm, murky, and had a constant foggy appearance due to poor maintenance. It definitely wasn’t up to standard.
The hotel is small and they open up their tiny deck to the public every night, selling tickets and drinks. As a result, hotel guests have no real space to enjoy the facilities, even though you're paying a hotel fee to use the facility daily.
On a positive note, the valet service is 24 hours, which is a huge convenience, but it comes at a cost of $30 per night. It’s pricey, but I suppose that’s just the reality in the Caribbean.
The restaurant, unfortunately, lacked true flavor, and for a Caribbean island, it felt surprisingly un-fresh. I didn’t see much in terms of local fruits or authentic ingredients, which made me wonder if Puerto Rico was in some sort of crisis.
