"Great location right off plaza del sol. The bathroom of our room was a little weird with the shower between the door and toilet/ sink and the elevator a little funky, but the location and price more than made up for it as a place to launch out and explore Madrid from. "
"Excellent hotel very modern and clean rooms. Easy access to all attractions. Kitchen was a big plus. The shower was great plenty of hot water and beds comfortable. "
"The hotel is beautiful and covered in art. The staff are the best and most helpful staff I’ve ever encountered. I don’t usually give out 10/10 ratings but this was genuinely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed "

"Great location! Amazing views on the rooftop bar. Pool is nice but a little small. Staff was amazing and accommodating. The area is central to a lot of recreation and beautiful historical buildings. A bit busy at the hotel but that is to be expected for that area. The room we had with the balcony was perfect for the 2 of us. Loved the bathroom. Breafast was great too."
"Really nice place, right in the center of Madrid. The breakfast was really good and the room comfortable. I do recommande the restaurant next door, great Tapas! "
"Absolutely fantastic. Visited Madrid during a heat wave and arrived with serious jet lag from Los Angeles. The Thompson provided a perfect room to recover - extremely comfortable bed, delicious room service meals, blackout curtains and total silence all night - oh, and perfect air conditioning. They secured me a 5:30am taxi and wake up call upon departure. The rooftop pool is magnificent. Will be staying here again and again."
