"We had an excellent relaxing visit in Hakone at the Prince Hotel. The Japanese bath is exceptionally beautiful, has an outdoor tub from which the sunrise over the mountains can be seen. We enjoyed the extensive breakfasts- don't pass them up. We don't golf or play tennis, but used this resort setting as a base for sightseeing and hiking the region's mountain trails."

"Amazing hotel with easy access to theme park and onsen. Beautiful views of Mt Fuji from room. Excellent service and didn’t want for anything with multiple restaurants, vending machine and onsite shop. Free bus to Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji area from outside hotel. Buses to Tokyo less then 1 minute walk away. Highly recommend."

"We stayed here with our rental car to explore and see Fuji. We could walk to a lot of cool restaurants. Drinks in the hotel bar were nice with the view of the hotel grounds and mountains. "

"Lovely hotel, rooms and views. Very accommodating, for a price. Comparatively expensive for the other places we stayed in Japan, but they were excellent. Designed to be a resort, it is unnecessary to leave the property but they made everything in the area very easy to access. Common area and restaurants were very pleasant spaces to relax. "

"Arrived early and was able to store luggage until check in time. Check in process was through a automated terminal with staff available to guide you through the process. Nice clean functional room with comfortable bed. Breakfast was included. Hotel is about 3 blocks from train station where there were restaurants."

"This hotel is beautiful! We ended up booking an extra night because we loved the area so much. Hakone is a beautiful town full of nature. It’s so green all around. The hotel has a great bakery coffee area where they hand make their breads. There is a bus stop down the end of the road which takes you everywhere. Not a lot of dining options in the town but the hotel has a great little restaurant."
