Gibsons Landing Inn

"First off, we loved the location and close walkable proximity to the marina and waterfront shops. The town of Gibsons is so quaint and beauty and has such a lovely music and arts scene. All of the people we encountered were lovely and helpful. Our room at Gibsons Landing was tastefully decorated, bright and spacious with lots of natural light. The bed was comfy and firm with crisp high-quality cotton linens. Although we didn’t use it, the kitchen was modern and new and well laid out as was the bathroom. We had a hard time finding a place off the floor to perch our suitcases, as we wanted the coffee table free to place our drinks, etc., but that was just a minor issue. Our only real complaint was that there was construction directly under our window and constant noise, dust and beeping from the time we checked in until sunset and again first thing in the morning, so we could not enjoy the lovely balcony and view of the water. When I brought this up to management they were truly sympathetic and understanding, and offered to give us a discount on the room. Overall, it was a very lovely inn and we will mostly definitely plan to stay there again and will recommend it to our friends and family."

"The room 209 we stayed in unfortunately was facing the sewage outlet which has an odor when we open our balcony window Front desk was very helpful and offered a free upgrade to another room."

"We generally enjoyed our stay there as 2 adults and 2 kids (11 and under). It has a very homey vibe. It would be nice to be more clear about how many visits with the animals were included with our stay. This is a working farm so don't expect it to be precious and perfect. I would advise wearing old shoes and an outfit just for the animal visit, because it can get dirty. Location was fine, you have to drive 5+ mins to be anywhere but that's to be expected, in case you are not travelling with a car. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast is continental. BY FAR the biggest HIGHLIGHT was the animals. So much variety and they were all SO CUTE. Perfect for kids and animal lovers. Pros: -price is reasonable -the animal visits were 10/5 (horse riding is extra $, fyi) -staff was very helpful and kind -Netflix and Disney+ Cons: -there was an obvious moldy smell, but there were also a lot of air cleaning machines/fans.. unfortunately it did not help with the smell. -there were a few bugs and spiderwebs which really scared the kids."
