"We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was wonderful and helped us with all our questions about the hotel, the restaurants attached to the hotel (which we really appreciated) and about the area. The bedroom was abit smaller than some we have stayed in but definitely very comfortable. We appreciated having a little fridge. We were pleased we didn't have to go out to eat with the 3 restaurants attached to the hotel. The staff there were very helpful as well. We originally chose this hotel because it was close to the train station. We were catching a train the next day. But having stayed there, we will certainly book it again when we stay in Vancouver. We would definitely recommend the Moda Hotel, expecially if you want accommodation in that area of the city. "

"Room was great as is location of hotel. Gym was very limited. Pool was outdated, no hot tub. Dinner service was excellent- extremely knowledgeable server given my celiac condition. Breakfast server had no idea about celiac disease - we had to ask for the manager in order to be served safely. Car park is separate to the hotel and even though we paid for parking with the hotel ($70 per night!!) we somehow got ticketed by the car park attendant. Really poor. "

"We stayed overnight to watch a hockey game . They were more than accommodating due to the fact I had lost my ID for check in . Great hotel wish we had stayed one more day to use the pool . "

"Everything was lovely. The menu breakfast was a surprise as I expected a buffet. It was enormous! Everything perfect except the noise. We were on the street side and we both struggled to fall asleep due to sirens and people on street. Prob to be expected. Older hotel so presumably windows could be better for noise. Lovely though and staff are great!"

"We were cold during the night. The blankets are thin and the heating was not turned on due to standing right next to my side of the bed. It was being loud and not very clean as it opened its wings, I could see inside. I did not want the air be blown right into my face like that so I put on 4 layers and slept like a rock. The mattress was king and very comfortable. The inner courtyard is very quiet with beautiful plantation of banana and palm trees. The fake grass walkways are super quiet on the outside corridors so you can`t hear the coming and goings on the floors. "
