「We were in the basement room. It was very musty and the bathroom smelled like mould, staying there for 3 nights made our clothes smell. Lots of spiders and a few long looking centipede type bugs that were crawling across the floor. The upstairs was nice and clean but we felt like we were intruding. there was only 1 shower in the whole house that was usable. Great location for walking and close to UBC. Appreciated the laundry facilities too.」

「The room was clean and comfortable enough given the reasonable price. The backyard is very beautiful. The owner/manager is kind and welcoming. Here is only one thing to be desired: I hanged a bath towel I used at the first night in the room to dry. It did not get dry even after 3 days. I do not know if this is due to low temperature and/or humidity in the room. Other than that, I am basically satisfied.」
