"This was my first time using VRBO and I have to say I was really impressed with the accuracy of the listing and accountability of the host - she was communicative, positive and a pleasure to deal with. The lane home being very clean and welcoming, a bit on the older side but very cozy and warm (North Van can get cold at night) not to mention being able to have my dog there with me with zero fuss from the host. Just an all round terrific experience which I will definitely repeat if the need arises. Thank you!"

"The room was very nice, conveniently located in a very "happening" area. The room was very nice with a good view. Bed and pillows very comfortable. There were some renovations going on down in the market but we didn't notice any noise. We were lucky to hit a beautiful sunny weekend. It was a great place to stay for our weekend away. Only downside, was disappointed in the restaurant, I'd give that 3 stars, not very inviting and food was just ok. Very happy with our room, although you had to really hold down the toilet handle to get it to flush and and the sink plug didn't stay down, and if you wanted the tap water on low, it wouldn't stay on. Room 419. We didn't report it as it was a huge deal, but should probably be dealt with. Other than that very happy with our stay and the coupons for meals was a nice touch, just wish the food had been a bit better. Excellent food down in the market."

"We spent 3 nights at Howie’s Retreat. He is a marvellous host. Warm, welcoming and personable. The unit itself is spacious, comfortable and clean. There is not a single thing that Howie has not provided for your comfort. If it isn’t there, you don’t need it. If anything isn’t right, he will go out of his way to fix it in a timely manner. Nothing is too much trouble. The decor is lovely too. A real home away from home. A perfect little nest for when you are not out exploring the area. Great place, great guy!"

"Exceptional location. Lots of dining out opportunities. The mountains and great outdoors to Noth Van are right off the doorstep as to is Stanley Park and great view across the water to Dtwn Vancouver. "

Frances and Terrence were so welcoming and friendly, great communication but also very respectful of our privacy-striking a perfect balance. The pictures do not do this accommodation justice, it’s cozy, spacious, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything you could ever need for your stay. It felt like a real home away from home! Also can’t forget to mention the gorgeous garden and perfect North Van location. We loved our stay so much and are looking forward to returning.
