"The location was perfectly suited to our needs with access to family, restaurants, beaches and beautiful walks. It included a pool, a nice open relaxation area, covered sitting area, a grassy area and sidewalk to walk the dog and as well as close-to-room parking. Our room was very clean and had clearly been updated with new furnishings and decor recently. The Lodge was able to accommodate our dog which add immensely to the experience. The two staff members we met were very courteous and conscientious."

"LOVE the resort. The tents were beautiful, I have never been camping, and was made fun of never been camping, so this is my first version of glamping (lol, I know it's not). We spend the night because it was my birthday, the tent was very romantic, we walked the premise down to the water edge, had dinner at the resort, smores for dessert by the fire, bubble bath in the huge tub. It was amazing. The ONLY thing I would change is the fire place instructions, us old folks can't bend down to read that instructions, and even with the instructions can't find the dial for the longest time, so maybe better instructions not on the very bottom of the fire place?"

"We loved our stay! We got lucky that the fire ban had ended, so we were able to enjoy a lovely campfire, which made the evenings extra special. We also made our way down to the water and did some kayaking. Such a beautiful and peaceful spot.The kitchen is really well stocked and had everything we needed during our stay. Even a can opener! Ian and Jackie are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. They even made us a banana bread to welcome us, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch.Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our time here.One fair warning for anyone planning to head down to the water: there are about 150 steps, with a combination of stairs and a bit of a hill. It all feels secure and well maintained, but it is definitely a bit of a trek, especially coming back up! Something to keep in mind if stairs or mobility are a concern.Thanks again, Ian and Jackie, for such a lovely stay!"
