「I can see the vision and the property itself is super cute with nice gardens and decor. The toiletries are of high quality and very nice but the basics could do with improvements. We had the garden room for 4 nights. We checked in late and were sent very clear instructions which was appreciated. Once in the room there was no overhead light but there was a light switch so we fumbled around in the dark looking for it. There were two bedside lamps but only one worked. 「I booked Eagle Rock Bed and Breakfast in Chemainus through Expedia while planning a trip that included Salt Spring Island. Shortly after booking, I realized the property was not located on Salt Spring Island and immediately attempted to cancel the reservation. Despite trying to cancel promptly, I was still charged. What makes this significantly worse is that I have repeatedly tried contacting the property using the phone number provided. No one answers. I have left multiple voicemails...

「Call this what it is. It’s a room rental with 1000 passive aggressive notes written over everything. A shared bathroom (with the current owner) who will be living and staying in the home for the duration of your stay. Not suited off, no place to truly have any type of privacy. The division between the bedroom the gave me and the loft above me the owners operators were staying was an ugly blue cushion on a wrought iron stairwell.
