Girls getaway.

Fantastic stay
What a great experience: the hosts are super friendly, easy to communicate with and quick to respond, the cottage is in a wonderful location and stocked with everything you could think of (kitchen utensils, games, outdoor toys, camping chairs, sunshade). The deck is lovely to have your morning coffee at and the kayaks are fantastic to explore the inlet. The outdoor fire pit is fun for the kids and the indoor stove gives it a lovely ambience. Lots of comfy seating for the whole party, 4 bedrooms to provide enough space for everyone and the EV charger to top it all of - nothing more we could have asked for. We will definitely go back.

The host was very accommodating! She was friendly, baked us banana bread and went to work when we were having wi-fi issues. Our accommodations were clean and well appointed. Our friends loved that it was pet friendly.

Peaceful Property
With a banana loaf waiting for us to the peacefulness of the property. This was the perfect place for a relaxing week. Although there was no view of Secret Cove, It was only a short walk down to it; and with the usage of the owner’s kayaks we were able to discover the whole cove. Being centralized along the coast, we were able see Gibsons one day to watching the tide go out at Skookumchuck Narrows another, to hiking the many trails.

Excellent Visit to the Sunshine Coast
Everyone was super happy with their stay at the cottage. It provided a great place to host a family gathering. Access to the kayaks and canoe for a morning paddle in Secret Cove was super convenient. And its central location made short trips to Smuggler Cove, Skookumchuck Narrows, and Francis Point a breeze. Having an EV charger available was also convenient. Thanks Ian and Jackie!

Great for a family getaway!
We really enjoyed our stay! A very cozy cottage, well stocked kitchen and equipment to enjoy the water which is a short walk away. Great location, close to hikes, lakes and shopping for groceries! Definitely recommend.

Lovely hosts
The place was nice. Slightly dated but clean. The hosts were wonderful, very helpful and responsive. And even though they in live on-site, it felt very private. Our only complaint was that the steps down to the water were very hard for the older members of our group. And the waterfront itself wasn't particularly nice. You wouldn't want to hang out there. If you stay here, make sure you visit smugglers cove, which is accessible via a trail a few KMs from this property. Just the most beautiful sight. Stunning.

Lovely peaceful spot
Great location for my family trip. Lovely outdoor area (bring mosquito repellent!) and nice communal living area. Good location close to smugglers cove and some great bike trails nearby. The driveway is pretty steep so nervous drivers may struggle a little with that.

We enjoyed the homelike feel of the house with plenty of space, a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, large deck and lovely back yard. Our dogs enjoyed the space and the yard. It would be a great place for a get-together with friends--4 bedrooms and lots of space.

Beautiful spot tucked away in the woods
The place was perfect for our family weekend getaway! The hosts were more than accommodating with all questions and flexible with our group needs. The place was located in a beautiful location. We loved the fire pit and the wood available especially. The only con would be it could have been a bit cleaner (crumbs on the counter, the fridge was not wiped) but it was tidy overall and we had all we needed kitchen and bathroom wise. Would recommend!

Perfect place for a relaxing getaway and lots to explore
We wanted to a relaxing place to stay and also somewhere close to some beautiful spots to explore locally - we achieved both of these and had a really lovely holiday! We were able to do so much in the four days we were there.... canoeing in the inlet, reading/knitting by the wood stove, hiked smugglers cove, explored the sechelt farmers market , beaches in gibsons and a few local restaurants and so much more.

The place had a warm, cozy atmosphere that encouraged gathering in the large communal area in. The bedrooms were also spacious and having two bathrooms was amazing for our group of 7. The setup was amazing and worked well for our mix of friends and family from abroad. We enjoyed walking down to the water (though be aware of the tide if planning to go out on the boats). We also loved having the fire pit accessible to us during the cold evenings. Highly recommend. Jackie and Ian were extremely responsive (responded to our messages within minutes) kind and welcoming.
