「hard to find」

「The host was adamant that we remove our shoes in the foyer but the floors in the rented room were filthy. My feet were Black shortly after getting out of the shower. The mattress and pillows were almost impossible to sleep on. The whole place just had a weird vibe about it」

「Two days before our stay we were notified that we were being moved to a different rental which apparently was an upgrade. What was not clear in the photo was the lack of space above the mattress (double) on the floor(no “bed”) and the ceiling. Not high enough to sit up while on the bed and have to bum scoot to the end and climb down a very precarious ladder. We both nearly hurt ourselves on it (super slippery) and we are pretty fit. It was heated using space heaters and while on, cannot use...

「The room was clean and comfortable enough given the reasonable price. The backyard is very beautiful. The owner/manager is kind and welcoming. Here is only one thing to be desired: I hanged a bath towel I used at the first night in the room to dry. It did not get dry even after 3 days. I do not know if this is due to low temperature and/or humidity in the room. Other than that, I am basically satisfied.」

「This Guest House is absolutely charming. The neighborhood is wonderful and so very accessible to the main road where all the shops and restaurants are located. I loved the freedom of coming and going whenever I liked using their access method and found the Host to be very responsive via text communications. I have family in the vicinity, so this will likely be my home away from home when I come visit again.」
