"Check in at 1030 pm with a bus of 40 people in front of you was horrible. Bar closed and no food. Sadly after 20 years at Sutton I will be looking for new property."

"Had a bad experience with this hotel. I upgraded to an ocean view with balcony from a city view. The room was ok but old. The shower was broken but didn’t find that out until I was about to take one. And we have a guided tour that morning so good thing I woke up earlier. After plumber checked it, they had to transfer us to a newer room which they said they just finished renovating a week before. No balcony but still an ocean view and waived our upgrade fee and gave us breakfast vouchers. That was nice. But the new room.. well a/c was too loud that if you’re a light sleeper (which I was) you will hear the thermostat whenever it turns on. Another thing was the bathroom .. modern lighted mirror is too dim. No adjustment. I can’t even use it to put my makeup on. There’s a built in exhaust fan in the bathroom that was too low that it fogs up easily and it doesn’t clear up not until you open the door. Do they even check these things before they give the room to their guests? Where’s the quality control? And they’re not cheap! Maybe it was just my luck. One thing that was great was the staff/front desk."
