"We had such a great experience staying in the guest cottage. It was so private, clean, cozy, and the views were breathtaking. The host was so good to work with. The microwave went out during our stay and they were there to fix it immediately. Also, they were so good to give recommendations and help with all our needs including last minute snorkeling gear. Staying here added so much to our experience here in Hawaii and I would stay here again, definitely recommend."

"Stayed there for a few nights with my adult children. Host communicated well and had everything set up for us when we got there. Place was clean and charming. We enjoyed hanging out in the screen room at night listening to all the wildlife and playing Big Island Monopoly. We hope to make it back there again. "

"This is an older property, but it is well maintained, very clean, and moderately priced. Beautiful oceanside location that is a short drive from Volcanoes National Park. Our only contact with staff was with the security person who took care of our late check in for our one night stay. He was very helpful and pleasant. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"We have been having great experiences in Hawaii at every place we have stayed so far. But I have to mention something special about this property. We stayed here only for one night -but every bit of it was worth it. The staff at the reception desk on 20 th evening - her name is Ipo - was just amazing! We just mentioned that our younger one’s birthday is on 21 st and we wanted to know if there was an option of getting a cake somewhere. Not only she arranged a cake as a courtesy , she got beautiful garland and a cute birthday card signed by the staffs for our little one and had everything ready to be picked up at the front desk at 11 at night! We travel all around the world - this was so special ! We never experienced this kind of hospitality anywhere before ! They didn’t have to do any of it - we would still love the property - its location right on the water - beautiful view from the balcony - the excellent service by the staffs at the restaurant! We couldn’t ask for anything more ! It will be nice to come back again ! Thank you Ipo and thank you all the staffs ! "

"This place was beautiful and clean, the sunset scene right outside of the circular living room was amazing and the lava land on the backyard and the ocean view was to dir for. Host was super nice and responded quickly . "

"What a great place! Gorgeous view every day you stepped outside, great bedroom space with comfortable beds, and a spacious bathroom. Erich and Suzy were super kind and helpful with recommendations for things to do and places to go. The pool was fantastic and breakfast was delicious. Definitely a place that warrants a return visit. "
