"This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. There is an outside table with umbrella and chairs. The stove and sink with utensils and crockery are on a prep surface outside of the bedroom. The...

"it’s a nice location, but there’s a lot of construction going on not only in the surrounding landscape but also inside the hotel. There’s a resort fee being charged every day and it’s really just a simple pool. Nothing fancy I wouldn’t say it’s really a resort. A resort really does have quite a few other amenities. There’s only one restaurant and room service only comes every other day. also, for those people who are in a balcony room in the front of the hotel, you’re going to hear a loud buzzing noise every time he goes, sit on the patio from some transformer downstairs."

"The description was unclear about the outdoor shower being at least 25 feet from covered porch-the toilet was also off the covered porch. The dogs on site were very friendly and did not bark when they approached us. Host was friendly and lives on site. Property featured interior solar powered lights as well as a very lit solar powered exterior lights. Mini kitchen equipped with propane stove and a mini fridge was perfect for quick meals. For couples wanting a little off grid living it would be perfect. Driving through roads were well over five miles to get to highway and since it rains quite often I would suggest renting an SUV to keep road water entering the vehicle. We experienced very low visibility and water ponding on roads which took extra time to get to property gate. Bed was a cozy queen mattress which I was hoping it would have been a king size to accommodate my larger frame fiancée"

"I stayed in one of the small cabins and it was fine for what I wanted. It had a comfortable bed, it had USB charging station, a mirror, a bar to hang your cloathes on and some side tables and benches. The water in the shower was hot. It really has a great atmosphere there, the folks that work there a nice and helpful. This is on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii and that's the reason I chose it. Please read about this place before you book it, go stay there and gripe about it. The property is hydro and solar powered. I could listen to the river all night. There are 2 areas to stay there, one is the B&B part of the property and then there is the part of the property with cabins with a big barn that has the community kitchen upstairs, the outdoor showers and bathrooms though you can eat at the main house restaurant. Be prepared to look in the mirror with the sunshine and seeing all the wrinkles on your face! I had a great stay there, very enjoyable. I did not utilize any of the equipment as I am not a fan of cellular phones and QR Codes. I did not eat there in the restaurant however, there is plenty of fresh food there at the main house from the farm!!! I enjoyed this stay as I had split my stay on the big island 4 days here on the east side of the island and four days on the west side in a hotel. Buddha statues are at the gate."
