"I’ll try to be gracious and say that the room itself was clean and I understand that we came at a time where there was a severe storm going on, which is why there was no power or water. Since it is self check in, there was nobody we could talk to on site. I went into our room through a I called the number that was provided to ask about the power/water and the person who answered was not very pleasant. The lodge itself is a hit bit creepy and not having power made it darker and creepier. "

"This was a lovely property and it’s clear a lot of thought went into the interior design. Temperature of the home was comfortable, everything we needed for both our infant and toddler were readily available (crib, blankets, cups) and we were even able to do a load of laundry which was a life saver. Home was very close to the National Park. Would highly recommend!"

"We loved everything about the room except for tiny little ants in the kitchen area but honestly that is not unusual in Hawaii. The Orchid Room (Room 6) was stunning. The bathroom and koi pond were really well done. Loved using the jacuzzi tub as the Kona rain storm started ramping up. We lost power a few times and had to pack up by flashlight in the morning but totally understand as it was a very strong storm -- strong enough to close the national park later that day. Would have loved to have stayed longer. We hope to come back some day."

"We enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was amazing after a long hike. A negative was the cleaning fees & cleaning check list. The checkout instructions have 7 tasks for you to do before you leave, AND they charge a hundred dollar plus cleaning fee. Otherwise the house was great. Thanks for a lovely stay. "
