"The property was convenient to beaches and Hilo . It was 45 minutes from Volcanoes park . There was snorkel equipment to use . The washer and dryer was appreciated . There is not A/C . It was muggy when we were there , but the fans made it comfortable . The house was well equipped with towels for the beach . The kitchen was well equipped also. There were basic spices and condiments which was appreciated . The welcome note and fruit basket were a very kind touch . Would recommend for a nice stay ."

Bikes to ride down to the beach, snorkeling gear and even surf boards. Talked to host he is very informative knows the area just an all around cool person. "We stayed in the Garden room and found it to be a little peace of paradise all on its own. The host was absolutely fabulous, he would come over in the morning and get the coffee going, gave us an itinerary of events going on for each day of the week. On Monday he hosted a bonfire bbq, with drinks, food, and entertainment. We felt very welcome here. One of the highlights beyond the awesome hot tub in the jungle was the outdoor shower, now I want one at my house. This will definitely be our Hawaii home for every trip to the big island. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay or a better time staying there. Absolutely the best resort I’ve been to."
