「The condo is clean, next to a great swimming and snorkel beach, and has everything you need (pots, dishes, towels etc.). The property itself is old and needs some work, but the condo has been remodeled beautifully. I would recommend a small AC unit for the hot afternoons, but the evenings did cool off nicely. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again!」

「Can't beat the location. Nice balcony view. Very clean. Host recommended a lot of good beaches and restaurants. Fun to watch the Muscovy Ducks. Parking was slightly tricky at check in due to the map of the lot and parking spot being in the room. Receiving an email map prior to check in would fix that. Besides that it was great 」

So thankful for the cooler! The bed was very comfortable. While it is a bit dated, it is decorated adorably and very clean. Highly recommend.」

「Clean, well appointed, bright 1 Bedroom that easily accommodated three adults. We particularly liked the lanai. Days, had a nice view of park and bay. At night, you hear the waves crashing against the rocks. You really are staying on the beach. Special mention of Terry, the owner. He’s super responsive. This was a great experience. Thank you.」

「We stayed 7 days in this unit. We were pleased with everything. I found the manager/ owner to be very helpful and accommodating. There was a book in the condo that made all the difference to us in exploring Hilo and the rest of the island. So glad I decided to take a look at it. There were more than adequate supplies available for our use. Be aware that the washer and dryer are coin operated so you will need lots of quarters. Beautiful view.」

「I love taking my breaks and walk around the complex, go to farmers market or go to all the amazing different food places around. It’s also just minutes to beaches falls , the volcano, farms, botanical gardens and many other beautiful places」

「My husband and I stayed for three nights, the studio is small but perfect for just two people, especially when being outside more of the time. The area around the apartment didn’t feel super safe at night time, but we were fine walking. Close to downtown and all within easy driving to the rocky beaches」

「In Hawaii we speak of Mana, to outsiders that can be felt in something that raises the hair on the back of your neck. You feel it in the air, something mysterious but not so silly as ghosts. No, this house is filled with a spirit of its own where you can feel the life of all those that have passed through these doors. If the walls could speak it would tell you the stories of some great writer who sat where you are now staring out to the stream below. If there was one word to describe this house...
