Magic Skies Main Level Living
Enjoy the entire 2,300 sq ft level to yourselves, with panoramic views, wrap around lanai, full chefs kitchen, laundry, open concept living, dining, 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, 3 full bathrooms, with access to hot tub, game room. With specialty wood work throughout hand crafted with island wood, you’ll find a wall carved and delightfully painted of an undersea adventure featuring Hawaiian sea life! We have a 10 acre farm where you can peacefully watch the animals while enjoying the gorgeous ocean view.
Come stay with us at our 3 story 8,000 sq ft farm stay B&B. The structure is a custom home with 100% Bali teak and also includes custom wood designs on most of the interior walls with wood sourced from the island. All three stories have panoramic ocean views on the East side of the home and garden and waterfall/creek views on the West side. The top floor features a 1200 sq ft dining lani suitable for large groups. The top two floors are exclusively for guests with the exception of breakfast cooking and serving which is optional.
You will have the entire 2nd level (main) to yourselves. The rooms all have a TV, kitchenette, en-suite or dedicated bathroom, have locking private double doors or slider to the front lanai or main entrance and locking doors to the main floor area. All guest rooms on this floor have access to the spaces on their floor which includes kitchen, dining, laundry, living room with large TV and panoramic views, large lanais on ocean, pond and creek sides. All guests also can enjoy the dining lanai and game room on the top floor.
We are on the property to provide you with any needs you may have during your stay. Our quarters are in the basement level. The top 2 floors are exclusively for guests. We are available by phone, text or in person.
The Pauka'a area is a farm area and in the lush East side of the Big Island. To get to our farm B&B, you'll drive through the original farm village of Pauka'a on your way. Just past the village, you'll pass a church, then you'll see our cows and goats. Conveniently located only 3 miles from the quaint Hawaii town of Hilo where you will find dining options, stores and shops. On Saturdays and Wednesdays visit the Hilo Open Air Marketplace with an abundance of Hawaiian art, souvenirs, food and clothing. Everyday they have a farmers market at the same location downtown. The downtown area also has many shops to browse, with a variety of wares, food and services.
We have plenty of free parking at our B&B on the West (creek) side of the property with a circle drive and handicap access where you will find the entrances for all three floors (opposite of the ocean). Just go down our driveway past the house to the circle drive and entrances. If you like to walk, there is an easy 30 minute walk from our B&B through a jungle back road to Honoli’i State Park which is the favorite for local surfers!
Our farm stay B&B is in the Pauka'a area, conveniently located 3 miles north of the quaint town of Hilo Hawaii, on the lush, east side of the Big Island. We are in a farming area, and have a 10 acre farm complete with cows, goats, sheep, pigs and chickens guests can see and visit, along with a whole host of wild birds that visit the feeders constantly and the occasional hawaii hawks and wild pigs. • Quiet time 10 p.m., that means TV too • Be aware of guests next to and below you, shhhh • Keep doors closed that don’t have screens (for bugs and cats) • Don’t let the cats in the house or your room • Be aware, cats do “love bites” when they want attention, pet at own risk • Gate code: 0420 • When driving out, pull up close enough, but not too close it will open automatically • Use button left of gate if walking out • Don’t try to squeeze thru the gate without opening • Key is for your room, keep main door unlocked • See more details and more rules in the Guest Book

We stayed for Merrie Monarch and Craft Fair. The home is beautiful. The owners rebuilt from the original home and have added many of their own oersonal touches. The owners live on the first floor. We had the whole second floor, and some other families rented the third floor. There is a full sized kitchen on each floor. Washing machine and dryer are included. The owners have cows, goats, and lambs...and dogs and cats.The view of the farm and Hilo bay cannot be beat. Watching the sunrise every morning was a beautiful way to start the morning!!! Enjoyed the stay! Thank you Magic Skies B&B!At first we had some difficulty using the tv but once we figured it out, we were able to watch without any issues.
