"We decided to rent a beach house to house a few family members who flew over from Catalina Island to come to my Dad's Celebration of Life! Both my Aunt and Uncle from Catalina Island are 87 and 90 Years old. The house was very comfortable and easily accessible with a cane. Although we did experience some rainfall having the rocks embedded in the entrance floor and stairs made it easy for them to go up and down the stairs. "The hotel reminded me of a Motel 6. The staff is excellent and very friendly, Had the most comfortable bed I've ever had at a hotel. Slept really well. Was a couple minutes from the airport and close to plenty of parks and places to eat. Would recommend getting a rental car so you can enjoy the whole island.
