The Pacifica Inn The Volcano Room

Welcome to The Pacifica Inn located in Volcano on the Big Island of Hawai’i. The Pacifica Inn is a special little place out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean where you can experience peacefulness and tranquility. Come and enjoy the beautiful Hapu’u trees that surround the property and the anthurium flowers dotted through out the property. Relax and enjoy the sounds of endemic birds and their melodies while the Coqui frogs sing at night. Consider staying in one of our rooms at The Pacifica Inn.
The Pacifica Inn is located in the beautiful Mauna Loa Estates just one mile from the town of Volcano. In Volcano you will find restaurants and shops to enjoy during your stay.
The Hawai’i National Park is only 5 minutes away. This makes the Pacifica Inn a perfect location after a long day of experiencing the best of what Hawaii has to offer.
The Hilo International Airport is 40 minutes away and renting a vehicle is the best way for transportation around the Big Island.
The Pacifica Inn is located in Volcano which is in a high altitude of 4,000 feet above sea level.
Volcano is very tropical and rain can fall at anytime during the day or night. Temperatures can get cold at night so we highly recommend you pack warm clothes along with your swimsuits.

One of our most popular rooms the Volcano Room. It is a beautiful large upstairs studio apartment that has 1 Cal King and 1 Twin bed that will comfortably sleep 1-3 guest(s).

We also have one cot with mattress that is available. Please request the cot to your host at least 48 hrs. before your arrival date. With a cot sleeps 1-4 guests.

Enjoy the beautiful scenery through the large wall surrounded windows with a view of the lush jungle treetops and ferns. With this room feature offering a beautiful view of the rainforest it makes this one of our more popular rooms.

This apartment studio features a little entertainment area with a smart TV and a dining area (seats 4) that can serve as a workspace.
On cold nights, there is a fuzzy blanket and a fireplace to keep your toes nice and warm.


* The water is NOT CONSUMABLE and we recommend guests bring their own drinking water during their stay.

*GUEST ACCESS
There is parking on the premises, limited to 1 vehicle per room rented.
Guests can enjoy their own private quarters in The Volcano Room and the shared outdoor spaces. This will include the parking area, driveway, forested yard, and trail.
*The hot tub is currently off limits to all guests until further notice.

Please remind and ensure that kids and other guests limit themselves to these designated areas and respect these boundaries, allowing privacy for the other guests.

*GUEST INTERACTION:

Late check-ins are allowed. Guests can check in at anytime.
Early check-ins/late check-outs are not always guaranteed, but we will try to accommodate this request as best as we can. We want you to have an enjoyable experience.

*OTHER NOTES
The best way to get around on the Big Island is a vehicle. Buses are an option. You can find the Hele-on bus schedule on Hawaii County website. You can also find tips and tricks on how the bus operation works here on the Big Island.

Upon booking this unit, guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Pacifica Inn, property owners, its officers, agents, employees, and servants from all claims, suits, or actions of every name, kind, and description, brought for, or on account of: (A) injuries to or death of any person, or (B) damage to any property of any kind whatsoever and to whomsoever belonging, (C) any sanctions, penalties, or claims of damages resulting from guest's failure to comply with the house rules, host/manager directions, local laws, or (D) any other loss or cost, including but not limited to that caused by the concurrent active or passive negligence or manager or owner and its officers, agents, employees, or servants, resulting from the performance of any work, maintenance, or the involvement required to maintain safe and comfortable rental unit.

Please note: This is a multi-unit property. There is a total of 2 buildings offering 4 units on site.
The house in the front has a studio unit upstairs (The Volcano Room) and a 1 bedroom ( The Gecko Room ) downstairs.
The trail leads to the back building with two units which are ( The Nene Room ) and (The Hapu’u Room ) they are side by side units. We look forward to your stay at The Pacifica Inn!
