"Very easy to get to the park. Average ratingfor staff is only cause there is none to rate but everything was clear. Just be aware it is not air conditioned and it was much too warm and it eas only mid April"

"During our 5 night stay our room was never cleaned, when I requested daily cleaning. When I asked for help the only thing done was towels being dropped off. There is also no where to fill up water on property so we had to keep buying water to make coffee, tea and fill our water bottles."

"I would not recommend this hotel, unless there were no other decent choices. The front desk wasn't friendly or particular helpful both days we were there. Room was not great, none of us slept, roach on nightstand next to me. The reason I didn't give it lower was because of the bar restaurant. We were tired and hungry when we got in so went for the casual food in the bar area. Server was terrific, food was very good and live band playing was honestly incredible. This was the only good thing about our hotel experience. "

"Location was perfect to avoid Hilo traffic it you frequent to Volcano National Park or Mauna Kea or Kona. Kelly is an amazing host and her breakfast was amazing that personalized vegan/ vegetarian preferences as well. Kitchen was well stocked that guests can use for preparing their own meals. Hot tub is well kept and open till 10 pm. "

"Beds are so comfortable. Lovely grounds , spa is great with hot tub and sauna that you can reserve for private time. Birds can be noisy but you get used to them and actually look forward to hearing and seeing them around the property. "

"Loved it here! Would have stayed longer but they were booked up. Great location. Short BEAUTIFUL walk to the beach/park. The woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful! A+"
