「I enjoyed my stay here. The place is one of a kind and each room is unique. I was reluctant at first because of the shared bathroom, but I never had issues when I needed to use it. 「We chose this lovely home because it is relatively close to volcanoes NP and Hilo, and because the multiple bedrooms worked well for 4 adults and two teens. The tropical jungle forest surrounds the property. It is a couple minutes walk down to a gorgeous black sand beach. The beach requires climbing down natural rock steps, not a problem for us but might be for some. The waves are very big here. 「We were looking for a place to stay for the night outside of Hilo while exploring that side of the island. This little cottage is clean, spacious and directly across the road from a beautiful, secluded black sand beach. It was magical! We would absolutely stay here again and enjoy it for a longer stay. 「Our stay on Hawaii Island was wonderful. The Balinese style was unique. The location of the house across from a beautiful black sand beach was perfect. We walked to the beach with our morning coffee enjoying the sunrise and then again after our return from being out and about. The climb down can be a bit difficult especially after the rain, so be careful. Point to note, you will encounter people who are nude as this is an optional clothing beach.
