「I spent 10 nights here in November. This is a very clean cottage, very well maintained. The owner/host is awesome and was in the area taking care of his other cottages so I spoke with him a couple times. He even stopped by and dropped off a new air fryer for me one day. 「We chose this lovely home because it is relatively close to volcanoes NP and Hilo, and because the multiple bedrooms worked well for 4 adults and two teens. The tropical jungle forest surrounds the property. It is a couple minutes walk down to a gorgeous black sand beach. The beach requires climbing down natural rock steps, not a problem for us but might be for some. The waves are very big here. The young adults/teens had a blast boogie boarding and playing in the waves, but they took a beating...
