「Front Staff and restaurant staff were kind and helpful. Plus in terms of the quality of the room it was great, nice secluded with heating amenities , hot bath tub outside surrounded by nature , lush green trees with birds chirping, insects singing. I mean great place to relax , rewind and onward journey . The restaurant food was great with nice ambience- lamb is a recommendation for dinner, Further this place is very near to Kilawea , we could rush to watch episode 52 eruption just in time .」

「Bucket list experience as we were able to witness eruption 45 of Kīlauea. This cabin is in the perfect location to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. If you are a light sleeper, bring some noise cancelling headphones as the coqui frogs make quite a bit of noise at night. 」

「What a great place! We had a wonderful stay at this cute tiki cottage. The hosts had Hawaiian music playing when first arrived which was a really nice touch. Very well maintained grounds, beautiful flowers throughout. The tiki decor in the house was so fun and very well done. We had a relaxing evening on the lanai listening to the rain and kept cozy with lots of blankets because it does get cold at night. There was a heated mattress pad on the bed which was lovely. 「It was a bit hard to find control for opening the gate, would be good to mention its location in checkin process. Would be nice to have more comfortable and thicker linens. The blanket works when stacked but not comfortable 」

「Loved our visit. The VRBO was spacious with a lot of thoughtful touches. Great location for volcano and we got to see an eruption. Would love to return. Can’t think of anything that would have made it better except more time to enjoy the area. 😊」
