「First floor room (gecko) has terrible smell (possibly mold) that we had to endure through the night. We stayed here only one night and it was a very tiring experience with trying to fix that smell but couldn’t do it at all despite of trying candle, room freshener, my perfume. We ended up sleeping upstairs in one unit to get some sleep. The weird part is that property is at a great place and upstairs unit is very well maintained, so not sure why such a simple but important check is missed. We...

「I didn’t actually stay there. I had reserved the entire property in may and december23, the Monday before we were supposed to arrive the owner said they were no longer able to accommodate us. They asked me to cancel the stay in order to receive a refund and didn’t answer any calls or emails for help in finding an alternative. Vrbo gave me a credit but was unable to help secure lodging at the last minute (we were already on the island). The volcano erupted Monday so maybe that had something to do...
