Positioned between Hilo and Volcano National Park, this home and its grounds provide a secure and peaceful haven, serving as an ideal starting point for exploring the wonders of this magnificent island. You will enjoy grilling on a new grill with five burners, plus side stove and serving your masterpiece right there in the spacious outdoor dining area. Cozy up around a fire pit gazing at the stars roasting marshmallows. No matter what you do, you'll enjoy and rejuvenate yourself staying in this home I call "The Beehive". No minimum stay.

Unique house that’s tucked back in the trees. Well maintained with comfortable beds and plenty of space. Only downside is no air conditioning. Plenty of fans that did keep us comfortable for our stay. Would recommend

Exceptional stay!! Everything was clean, warm and cozy, along with all the comforts of home. Beautifully surrounded by lush greenery, it was so relaxing to sit on the back porch and breathe in the fresh air.

This place is gold. We stayed here before with my Grandma and this time I brought my very high maintenance parents. Both said they would stay again in a heartbeat! Such a generous host with all the amenities you can think of in the kitchen as well. 10/10The crow’s nest is so cool for the kiddos and all around the house is just a wonderful set up.

My family and I were looking for a place to spend the night between Hilo and Volcano National Park. We loved the unique setting this home offered. There was plenty of space for everyone and Jenny was very easy to communicate with. We loved the viewing loft with a telescope but unfortunately it was a very rainy stay and we weren't able to star-gaze.If you're looking for a home feel off the main tourist areas we highly recommend reaching out to Jenny.

This was such a fun house to stay in! We really enjoyed the unique property as well as its proximity to the volcanoes national Park. It was about a 25 minute drive from the park itself. The property was beautiful, including a really nice back porch and landscaping. From the listing, we thought that there would be plenty of cool breeze running through the house even though we knew there would not be air-conditioning. Although it was cool outside, we couldn’t get a good breeze in the house because most of the windows could not be opened and many of the windows that could be opened, had no screen, so could not be left open. There were fans in every room, which was OK, but definitely not as nice as sleeping with the windows open and getting that natural breeze. The kitchen looked like it needed a The kitchen looked like it needed a little bit of cleaning, but it definitely had lots of amenities. Other than that, everything in the house was really nice.
