Small town charm and great food without the hustle of many tourists.

I can see why Kelly is so highly rated on Airbnb! She has a very organized facility and it is all newly remodeled and in great shape. I would highly recommend using her Airbnb for your stays in Hawaii. Thank you, Kelly for being a wonderful host and for the breakfast.

Clean and the amenities are well covered and thought out. What you might not have thought of they probably have. Masks for snorkeling, beach chairs and foam noodles. I didn’t recall that there is not a stove but there was a nice bbq that we cooked the Korean shortribs we bought at KTA. We bought ...

Montana was a great host. Everything at the house was as described. The location was optimal for our trip as we were sitting time between town and volcano. About 30 to the airport and 8 minutes from Foodland. The house was comfortable and parking was easy. Everything you could need in a stay.

Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory is just one of the places to see in Keaau, so why not enjoy the other things to explore during your travels? Wander the picturesque gardens or discover the area's beautiful waterfalls.
Find out about the history of Keaau when you spend time at Fuku-Bonsai Cultural Center. Stroll along the seaside or discover the area's beautiful waterfalls.

Small town charm and great food without the hustle of many tourists.
Very affordable area, lush tropical forest, close to Hilo,
This is the best way to see the big island. Skip the resorts and helicopter rides, rent a car, and just drive till you see something you want to visit. Plenty of things to see and do to fill a week+. Will be going back; hopefully soon.
It is a rather non descript small town.
Sadly we only spent one night at this location. We would have loved to have stayed more nights to see more of the sites.
Every was unique
