Our stay was fantastic in a room with a wonderful view of the Laguna. The property is like a little oasis, filled with plants, flowers, private areas for dining and a swimming pool overlooking the water. The chef is over the top, best food we have had in Mexico! Staff was great and super professional.

Stunning stay

We had a great 2 night stay at Puerta del Cielo. From the moment we checked in the staff were so attentive, there were so many little details that meant a lot. We had several meals during our stay and everything we ate not only looked like art, but was outstanding. Luis the head chef was so helpful with tips of things to see and do and places to eat outside of the hotel.

El Cielo was such a wonderful place to visit Bacalar. Staff was very attentive. The view is amazing. breakfast was delicious and the drink cocktails were very good. The room view was partial lake view. The property grounds were so beautiful. Our room was comfortable and quiet

The staff was very accomadating and super friendly! We checked in a day late and let them know and they were waiting for us in the morning! Their greeting made us feel like celebrities! They also offered to credit me for missing my first night if we wanted to stay another night but we already had another reservation. After we left to our other destination(playa del carmen) we wishe we wouldve stayed another night!. All in all the place was beautiful & peacefule! Food was delicious as well! Would definately stay again! Dont hesitate on this property! Was conpletely worth it! Thank you Puerto del Cielo!

Beautiful property with beautiful rooms. We arrived to a delicious cold complimentary cocktail. The staff were very helpful with everything from carrying our luggage, changing us to a room with a better view as per their own suggestion. The pool and jetty areas are beautiful, and they will let you reserve to eat dinner here. The restaurant was very nice, and the cocktails were great. Perfect place to relax
