This is a brand new property, recently built. This hotel has a great location, steps from the Costa Rica Convention Center, there are shopping malls, clinics, restaurants, at walkable distance. There is shuttle service to the SJO airport, Breakfast was great too including costarican typical food. Hope to be staying here again soon!

It was a nice room ,they gave me a handicap one, it was very nice and big ,so happy with it!!

My stay at Los Lagos could not have been anymore magical! The resort is beautiful, so many hidden places to explore. I saw so many birds, lizards, wild boars and other critters during my walks. Our stay was amazing from our first interaction with the girl down at the front desk who greeted us with a smile right off the bat she was super nice and friendly. Everyone was really helpful if we needed anything they were quick to respond. The rooms were super clean they all have a stove, fridge, microwave & little eating area. The staff at the Bougainvillea welcome and get to know each and every one of their guests. You feel like you are a guest in their own home. The rooms are clean and spacious with great views of the mountain or the garden - I had a tree top view of a flowering Margarita tree - sensational! The dining is good and the prices comparable to most restaurants. Don't expect a bargain as there are none in Costa Rica. Great location in Colonia Americana just one block from Avenida Chapultepec and its many restaurants, bars, coffee shops etc. Very efficient front deck staff and friendly bellmen and housekeeping staff. Good restaurant with breakfast buffet.

Close to the airport, friendly staff, and clean comfortable rooms.

Nice hotel with all the amenities and close to the airport. Has a variety of restaurants nearby that are walkable. Will stay there again.

Great place to stay

The room we had was big with kitchen, living room with 50" tv and king size bed with 50" tv. Air conditioner. The restaurant food was great and the room service was great! The staff at the check in could be little more professional. I drop off my laundry (front desk) Wednesday afternoon didn't get it back until Thursday night at 10pm. They didn't tell me why it took so long. I think they forgot about the laundry and one of the staff saw it the next day on the floor and sent it out to get it...

Habanero was closed, so that was a bit disappointing. But Jorge, who manages the fresh margarita stand, always greeted us with a smile and made the best kiwi margarita! Definitely would comeback for him:)

Nice clean newer hotel on the Mazatlan malecón with many dining options
