"Highly recommend this hostel. It was extreme beautiful, made it hard to want to leave. Can pay a 200peso deposit to get 2 towels(1 for shower, one for pool) that u get back once u return them/check out. High quality shampoo and body wash in the showers. It was 35 degrees entire time i was there so the 10 minute walk to the beach seemed quite far. I would be drenched in sweat before i made it there. Security guard at front door checkint who comes in. Superior Double Room, 2 Twin Beds is big great for one or 2, even for 3 friends with the hammock in the room (I don’t know if they allow) Great bathroom. Mini-mini fridge. Stayed 4 nights. "The room is listed as 1.7 km from center. What's not said is it's up a VERY steep mountain. That made it sometimes unwalkable. We're walkers, but had a back problem. We did walk down one day, but not the Google Maps route which requires multiple long up-down stairways. They clean with some god-awful toxic-smelling stuff that caused me respiratory problems. The Hotels.com price listed is significantly lower than what I was actually charged with somewhat hidden fees etc. so beware of that. ...

"The location was nice and we enjoyed the small farm. The staff was very kind and helpful. The accommodations were rustic but fine with us. We enjoyed the outside seating area. We would have liked to have hot water in the shower and the kitchen is pretty minimal. Small things like a cork screw & bottle opener would be nice. Breakfast was very good and we also enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant."

"We loved this hotel. Very quaint and cute, lovely property. The pool is huge, the restaurant is good, and the hotel is very close to everything you want to be near. If you are a light sleeper, you may not appreciate the pet peacocks, but they didn't bother us and they are so beautiful! The hotel is quite a hike to get to on foot, but so is everything else in Taxco. I would totally book it again. "

"Well-located hotel and very low price. Rooms are clean, but not well-equipped, reflecting the low price. Private entrance because the lobby is in a different location. This can make check-in difficult because there are no signs indicating where the lobby is located (a block away on another street). "

"This is a great place to stay if you’d like to visit Costa Rica and really experience the city in a way tourists don’t usually get to. Warren was a fantastic host and will help you find whatever you are looking for. He was even available to take us on tours out of the city, all you have to do is negotiate a price (he was as good as any tour guide and less pricey!) I loved the stay there and was very thankful to find this hidden gem."
