TUI BLUE Medina Gardens – Adults Only – All Inclusive

"Nothing was really unique about this property as it’s a typical all-inclusive resort. The staff was very rude and not helpful at all. We had to switch rooms because we stayed in additional night upon check-in and they couldn’t keep us in the same room although they could’ve accommodate us they chose not to. Again the front desk staff was very rude the Bell man were not helpful they just stood around and looked at you while you tried to navigate where to put your luggage and what to do. I would not stay at this property again or recommend it to anyone. It’s a much better experience to stay at a Riad. Also the food selection was not good several people were sick at the resort. Just not a place she would want to stay"

"The staff were incredible, however I must deduct one star because we communicated a few days before on a pickup from the airport and they never showed up. We had to take an uber from the airport for about 140MAD. It was our first time in Marrakech so it would have been helpful to have someone from the hotel pick us up. They told us that a colleague was suddenly on vacation but then there was no reconciliation on the matter. There were limited food options despite having a menu; you’d often have to ask what’s available. They were very accommodating for not canceling our reservation for arriving one day late due to a delay in flight. But then the room wasn’t available right away. The Riad is pretty centrally located which we enjoyed. We were not planning to stay in the Riad during our stay because we’re out and about but it is small and something worth considering if you plan to relax while in Marrakech. They do have an absolutely beautiful view of the sunset in their rooftop. Overall decent stay, could have been a bit better for the value. Staff speaks French, English, Arabic. They understand Spanish but only one or two have some conversational skills, same with Italian. Food was a bit on the pricey side."

"Lovely Riad in the heart of the Medina, just steps from the main square. With a courtyard view room there was the added bonus of seeing some great live jazz in the courtyard every night. The spa is also terrific. Both the guys at the front desk were extremely helpful. Thanks to Soufiane for all his extra recommendations and help."

"Most of the staff was not friendly. The massage I got was rushed and then the massage therapist left, turned the lights off without a word. I had to fumble in the dark to turn the lights back on. The AC in the room was barely working. There were ants all over the one side of the room. The food and service at the pool bar were horrible. We literally had to get up to get a menu, to order and to let them know we were finished. I booked transportation to the airport with the hotel and they told me when it was time to leave that I had to pay the driver in cash. They should’ve mentioned that when I booked it. Also, since we left early in the morning I asked for a bagged breakfast which they said would be done but no breakfast was prepared for us. Overall not a good experience and I wouldn’t recommend this place."
