"The overall hotel is built upon a much older building. In general, it was very nice but the room I had (1st floor) was dated and very worn looking. Carpets were worn and spotted (by who knows what) which made them look dirty and unkempt. Wallpaper was lifting in places. All the furnishings were scuffed and marred.
