"The basic rooms are just that very basic with a minimum of conveniences. . At that price, I would have expected either a larger room or room was even a towel rack in the bathroom to hold towels. Small things like that make all the difference. "

"We loved our time here. Although the weather wasn’t great, we enjoyed wonderful walks on the beach - particularly crossing the bridge to Barmouth. The hills behind the house are beautiful too, and the whole area is just lovely. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed the novelty of having a record player - so much so that we’ve come home and bought one! I left something behind and Eloise kindly offered to post it back to me too. We’d definitely return!"

"We stayed 3 nights and absolutely loved it, we dropped our bags off at 11.30, when we got back to check in our bags we’re already in our room!! The room was fantastic, we had a room overlooking the square, the mini bar in the fridge is complimentary(all soft drinks), there is a welcome bottle of Prosecco on ice when you arrive in your room!! We enjoyed breakfast every morning outside the hotel overlooking the square!! We cannot recommend this hotel enough and look forward to using it again in...

"Cute hotel at the end of a private drive. We had room 201 and shared with friends of ours. The room was very tidy and spacious, with a lovely balcony with great views. Yes, the bathroom smelled like sulfur but it's common in Iceland with hot water. The common area was very spacious and was a great place to hang out. We loved the breakfast served in the morning, which was just enough fuel for the start of the day. Unlimited access to coffee and cookies was also a delight throughout our stay. We...
